Festival of Brighid
An Imbolc celebration
Saturday, 6 February 2010, 6-10 pm
at the Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism
2 Westwood Place in West Asheville
Fire, water, steam, and spark,
Brighid’s fire push back the dark
Forge, anvil, well, and spear,
Brighid’s flame burn true and clear
Even now, in the sleep of winter,
the seeds are starting to tremble under the snow,
and Brighid, the bright one, calls them to life.
Imbolc is the Celtic holiday celebrating the return of spring
and honoring Brighid, Celtic Goddess and Saint,
and her Four Fires:
Inspiration, Creation, Healing, and Justice.
We hope you’ll join us for a celebration
of Imbolc and Brighid’s Fire.
Come one, come all to:
And, please wear something to honor fire, water, or spring!
Imbolc blessings to you!
