We celebrate this Fire Festival at the end of July/beginning of August. Lughnasadh is the Celtic beginning of autumn, as well as the beginning of the harvest season. We honor this turning by coming together to share that which we have harvested in our lives throughout the growing season, physically and spiritually. We bring the firstfruits of our gardens or other seasonal delights to feast on together and honor the land’s generosity. And we make personal or community commitments for the year to come, as we relish the last bright fire festival before the coming of darkness once more. We complete our ritual with a potluck feast.
Please check our calendar in July for exact dates, and contact us for more information or to be involved in any way.
